Romana uses the most expensive wrapper in the world, Connecticut-Connecticut, and insists on an original 90-day aging period before adding the cellophane. This is a maturing and a drying process which yields an extremely pleasant smoking cigar. It allows the long filler tobaccos and binders and wrappers to marry their flavors while removing the excess moisture that makes for a spongy cigar. These cigars are firm and solid, not the least bit mushy, and they smoke beautifully, clean and crisp, delivering all the tobaccos’ great flavors.We don’t have a great amount of these in stock, only a limited number of cases. Their quality is impossible to replicate at these prices and will certainly not last long on our shelves.
